Team Outlook: “We graduated 9 outstanding seniors from a team that finished runner up in the KLAA West last season. We return a very talented group highlighted by the three young men above. These are three very high IQ basketball players who compliment each other very well. They are all receiving college interest. Our success will be predicated on how well we can gel as a team and play selfless basketball, how we can develop our youth and depth, and how tough we can be on the defensive end. The talent is there to compete with the upper tier of the Lakes Valley Conference. Our new conference consists of strong consistent Walled Lake Schools who all won 14+ games a year ago, Lakeland who returns the majority of their rotation, and Waterford Mott who has some high end talent. Should be a highly competitive Conference.” -Coach Gilbert
The Lakes Valley Conference will be deep and has a handful of potential champions. Look for Milford to play a key role in deciding this championship. Warzecha, Gustafson, and Soderberg are a trio more than capable of leading Milford to a title.
