Recruiting Report: Jalen Love (2018)
Love strikes a nice balance between scoring and distributing, making him a dual-threat lead guard that will be one of Washington’s best for the next two seasons.
Jalen is exactly what you what from a PG on the floor, hes a low turnover player that makes the simple play instead of the spectacular play. He brings defensive energy and is a very good communicator with his teammates and coaches. Shoots the deep ball very well but doesn’t settle for that , good passer.
This young man knows how to win games. He isnt the tallest player, but he plays with the type of energy that makes you completely overlook his size. Helped lead his team deep into the playoffs just about every season since he’s been playing varsity basketball. proven winner.
After playing at Eastside Catholic his freshman season, Love transferred into Bellevue to play this past winter. He averaged 12 points and 3.5 assists per game as a sophomore with the Wolverines.
“My first year over there was good, we made it the The Dome. I just played more of a consistent guard role, and a lot of it was me trying to be an extension of the coach and trying to get everyone open,” said Love.”
“As of right now I haven’t been really talking to and college coaches. This year I’m expecting to hear a little bit more from colleges and when we’re out of town I think I’ll be talking with some college coaches. It’s one of those things that really hoping happens.”
