Prospect Spotlight: Remaureon Arthur (2021)
There are a lot of talented freshman in Michigan. Remaureon Arthur is one to keep an eye on. He is a 5-5 point guard that is attending Bridgeport High School. Over the next four years he will have a definite impact on that program.
Remaureon Arthur is developing into an attack first point guard. He can handle the ball and uses that skill to get to the rim. He’s a solid finisher and can do so through contact. Arthur has a knack for finding or creating open lanes and getting past a defender. He is working to improve his three point shot so that he can score from all levels.
Remaureon Arthur is hard at work preparing for his first high school season. He recently broke his left wrist so he has been focusing on getting that arm stronger. Arthur has been turning the heads of AAU coaches, so he hopes his name will continue to get known and colleges will take note. He has been running and staying in good physical condition in order to perform at an optimal level from day one.
This is young man has big dreams. Remaureon Arthur wants to win. Even as a freshman, he wants a state championship. That being said, he realizes he needs to develop as a player so he can make his team better. “My long term goal is to make it to the NBA and make my family proud, and also to give my family everything they always wanted,” said Arthur.
Remaureon Arthur has already accomplished one of those goals. His family is certainly proud of the hard work he’s put in and what he has accomplished so far. The young man is motivated by his father. This motivation has worked well so far, because Arthur is on the brink of a stellar high school career.
