Prospect Spotlight: Jalen Green (2018)
2018 Jalen Green is slowly turning heads in the North West.
The 6’7 wing is currently averaging 17 points and 8 rebounds on the season. He continues to display his smooth jump shot, with his high release. Playing at his own pace, he’s able to create separation and get shots off at a high level.
Green is currently ranked 9th on the Prep Hoops Washington 2018 rankings, but is slowly climbing the charts. He’s receiving interest from Boise State, Washington State, Seattle University, and Montana.
“I’m playing for coach Gary Ward on the Northwest Panthers, and my spring was not what I wanted. But this June, I will be working hard to improve and have a good summer. I hope to have a good summer and get another offer, hopefully high D1.”
With great size and an ever-increasing skill-set, it seems a matter of time before other schools decide to get involved with Green.
“I can shoot, dribble and I like to pass. I have to improve my ball-handling and how I drive to the hoop off the dribble. My arms are long so that helps with rebounds and on defense,” said Green, who assessed his play from his junior season.
