Prospect Intro: Connor LeBrun (2019)
Five-foot-11 junior guard Connor LeBrun gave Flandreau an All Conference HM level season a year ago and now steps into a leading role.
Connor played with the Pentagon Basketball Club at the 16u level this summer and the experience made him a more physical player.
“Being able to play with some good players from other schools and steadily improving as a team and being more and more competitive as the summer went on,” LeBrun said of the top moments of his 16u season.
“I personally gained experience, playing against very good competition, and as the summer went on I grew stronger as a player, but I’m always looking to improve my game.”
Xavier Pavlis and Teddy Taylor have graduated but Augustana committed Dylan LeBrun is back along with his brother Connor
“We lost three starters who were big components of our team, but we still hope to compete with some guys stepping up this year,” LeBrun said.
“I’m looking to improve my all around game so that I can contribute to my team as much as I can,” LeBrun said.
This will be a memorable year for Connor as he gets to play with his brother for one more year. Dylan has had a big impact on Connor as well as several pro guards.
“My older brother Dylan has been a big influence on my game, helping me be the player I am today. My favorite players are Steph Curry, Isaiah Thomas, and Kyrie Irving.”
