Let’s Get Ready Basketball Camp: A Look Inside
‘Let’s Get Ready Basketball Camp’ is coming to the Freeland Sports Zone in Freeland, MI. The event is taking place October 21 (12-3PM) and October 22 (1-4PM). The camp is structured as a tuneup for the coming high school season. “It’s to prepare them for what’s coming and allows them to gauge where they are in regards to the surrounding talent,” said Coach Johnson.
The event will utilize both skill buiding and game play. Coach Johnson believes that the players will benefit greatly by competing with top notch talent, while also sharpening skills and gaining exposure. This level of competition will give the athletes a better understanding of what they need to work on for the upcoming season. “I will lead a group of area coaches who will assist me in pushing these kids to get better and to compete at their highest level,” Coach Johnson said.
