Program MVP: Logan Windeler
Who was the MVP of each grassroots team program this past spring and summer? This might not necessarily be the best player although in many cases it is. We are looking at the player from Illinois that elevated their game and stepped up when it mattered most taking both themselves and their teams to the next level.
Example Sports had several intriguing prospects this year that have upside down the road including bouncy 2019 four man TJ Wicks. There was no doubt who the best player in the program was though in 5th year power forward Logan Windeler. He is a 6’8” power forward originally from Manteno, Illinois. He is a face up four man that is known for his perimeter shooting. When he is in rhythm he can be a very effective shooter as a floor spacing four. Also shows some of his underappreciated athleticism with slashes on occasion. Looking more comfortable handling the ball. This is a prospect that would be worth consideration at the low-major level as well as for D2 schools. We came away impressed with what we saw out of him in July.
Congrats to Logan Windeler on winning the PrepHoopsIllinois Program MVP for Example Sports.
