Prep Hoops 250 Expo : 2019 Players
The Prep Hoops 250 Expo was a great success last weekend on the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, SC. Lets take a look here at some of the 2019 players that played well in the event.
Juwan Perdue – Lakewood HS (pictured on the front)
Perdue we been mentioning since his freshman season for the Gators. Perdue left-handed skilled combo forward keeps getting better and will look to have more of a scoring role this season with the departure of many seniors. South Carolina State University has offered Perdue already before his junior season.
Donta King – Legacy Early College
King is a mismatch in the paint with his frame. King who holds a offer from Coastal Carolina University and USC Upstate. King is a space eater in the paint.
Chase Claxton – Legacy Early College
Claxton played great today and has a uncanny response to blocking shots. Claxton timed so many shots today leaving the floor. Claxton rebounded on both ends of the floor.
Christopher “CJ” Jamison – Legacy Early College
Jamison connected on some shots today and always seems to be in the right place around the ball. Jamison a off guard plays extremely hard on the floor. Jamison is a kid that helps you win games
Marlon “OJ” Hill – West Ashley HS
Hill is a extremely athletic kid who really enjoys attacking the basket.
Devin Ramsey – West Ashley HS
Ramsey 6’6 is still getting back in condition but, can really be a force inside the paint when he decides to figure it out.
Peter Musci – West Ashley HS
Musci is a spot shooter who must adapt to a bit of a quicker game down in Chucktown.
Deandre Bryan – Berkeley HS
Bryan is just a RAW talent and will get better with playing time.
Desmond Murray – Williston-Elko HS (Williston)
Murray is a tweener on the floor and can cause fits with his quick feet. Murray plays around the paint and runs the floor well very well many times being his defender down in transition.
Jahrique Isaiah – Loris HS
Isaiah plays wide receiver for the the Lions on the gridiron. Isaiah likes to attack the basket on the left-side and tends to keep the ball on the string.
Adyn Kirby – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant)
Kirby 6’5 slender-sleek kid uses a nice drop-step in the paint. Kirby needs to finish better on contact.
Devin Dean – First Baptist (Charleston)
Dean played well today but, had to leave early – so couldn’t grab him for a photo in the event. Dean was really pushing the ball in transition today and finishing around the cup.
These are some of the 2019 kids that stood out today from the camp.
