Palmetto State : Snipers on the Strand

Robert Swanson (2018) – Myrtle Beach HS (pictured on front)
Swanson is a gritty guard for the Seahawks. Swanson 5’9 averaged 15.7 ppg last season on his way to shooting 50% (135-270) from the floor. Swanson connected on 41% (45-111) from three point range. Swanson is a strong student in the classroom carries over a 4.0 GPA.
Swanson will be a 3 year starter this coming season with being on the varsity all 4 years. Swanson has scored 832 points entering his senior season. Francis Marion University (SC) (NCAA D2) and Guilford College (NC) have contacted Swanson this fall.
Mike Green (2019) – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach
Green a left-handed combo guard has been a fixture for the Saints for quite awhile. Green already scored 1,206 points entering his junior season. Green played AAU with the Southern Stampede on the EYBL Circuit this past summer.
Green averaged 14.3 ppg, 5 assists and 2.9 rebounds last season for the Saints. Green shot 54% (100-184) from the floor and 34% (51-150) from three point range last season. The Saints finished the season at 20-12 and lost in the SCISA State Championship to Zion Williamson and Spartanburg Day School.
Emorie Knox (2020) – Myrtle Beach HS
Knox is a running mate with Swanson in the Seahawks back court for Head Coach Craig Martin. Knox averaged 9.8 ppg last season while connecting on 50% (31-62) from three point range. Knox is ranked #6 in the 2020 Class here in the Palmetto State. Knox played AAU with the Myrtle Beach Phenoms.
Knox is one of the quickest guards in the state end to end if not already the quickest.
Lawton Fulford (2021) – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach
Fulford played with local with a local team Manzer Basketball Club. Fulford a freshman hit on 39% (81-210) from three point range last season while attending North Myrtle Beach Christian. Fulford has already played 4 years of varsity basketball while attending North Myrtle Beach Christian.
Fulford transferred over this summer to the Saints. Fulford connected on 44% (172-391) in 4 years at North Myrtle Beach Christian. Fulford enters the 9th grade season with 770 points. Fulford saw action as a 6th grader for the Stallions and repeated the 8th grade there.
