Bryson Rose (2018) – Academic Magnet (North Charleston) (pictured on front)
Rose is one of the most unknown kids in the state. Rose connected on over 120 three pointers last season for the Raptors. Rose set the single state record for three pointers in a season last season. Rose 5’11 went over 1,000 career points in a game late in the season versus North Charleston HS.
Jaden Anderson (2019) – Burke HS
Anderson will get more playing time this season with the departure of several seniors from a state championship team. Anderson a run-jump athlete is a raw talent that runs the floor very well.
Dal’mont Gourdine (2019) – Garrett
Gourdine is a brute in the paint. Gourdine played a limited AAU season with the Charleston Playmakers. Gourdine first saw action as a 8th grader and played at North Charleston HS then. Gourdine takes up space in the paint and enjoys playing on with contact.
Dashawn Murray (2020) – North Charleston HS
Murray is a Top 10 kid in the 2020 class. Murray has a high motor that never seems to end on the floor.
Dawjawan Brown (2020) – North Charleston HS
Brown compliments Murray very nicely on the floor. Brown 5’11 guard played AAU with Big Shots South Carolina 15U.
Mikal Shuler (2018) – Woodland HS (Dorchester)
Shuler 5’4 might be small on size but did average 13.9 ppg last season for the Wolverines. Shuler connected on 35% (38-109) from three point range.
Ja-Saun Pryor 6’4 has left Woodland HS for Pinewood Prep. Pryor averaged 13.5 ppg and 5.8 rebounds last year. Pryor played AAU with TMP 16U this summer. Pryor wing player has a nice mid-range game.
