Rasheim Lyde (2018) Timmonsville HS
Lyde 6’3 wing player averaged 15.0 ppg, 9.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.6 steals a game last year. Lyde is very aggressive defender amd very athletic wing. Lyde is not overally skilled but, rebounds the ball well from his wing spot. Lyde will be one of the key pieces for the Whirlwinds this year.
Dock Smith (2018) Timmonsville HS
Smith 6’5 slender-sleek post is back in the post for the Whirlwinds this season. Smith hits the offensive glass but plays a bit timid at times on the floor.
Mikial Fourney (2018) Lewisville HS (Richburg)
Fourney 6’3 shooting guard averaged 12.3 points and grabbed 7.4 rebounds last season. Fourney plays hard on the defensive side of the floor. Fourney left-handed has a nice mid-range game. Fourney was one of the pieces key for the Lions state runner-up last year. Fourney also plays free safety for the Lions. Fourney played AAU with Upward Stars-York County this summer.
Shane Hammonds (2018) McBee HS
Hammonds 6’1 guard that plays three sports for the Panthers. Hammonds averaged 11.3 ppg last year for the Panthers. Hammonds has a nice mid-range but also has the ability to get the ball to rack. Hammonds plays second base for a team that finished Class A Upper State Runner Up in baseball and football last year.
Jamaric Morris (2019) Timmonsville HS
Morris 6’2 combo guard is the Quarterback for the Whirlwinds football team. Morris uses his quickness to get to basket. Morris averaged 6.9 ppg and 6.4 rebounds last season. Morris is always around the goal for the rebound or the put back. Morris has passed for 326 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 207 yards and two touchdowns so far this season.
Morris is the son of former quarterback Kelvin Morris who led Timmonsville to the only perfect season in school history in 1998.
Jadakiss Talford (2019) Lewisville HS
Talford 6’2 guard averaged 10 ppg last year for the Lions coming off the bench. Talford come on the bench and play hard on the both side of the floor. Talford plays very aggressive on the ball handler. Talford can shoot the mid-range jumper and drive the ball to the rack. Talford will look to help Fourney get the Lions back to Columbia this coming March.
Kelton Talford (2020) Great Falls HS (picture on the front)
Talford 6’4 combo forward also plays wide receiver/defensive back for the Red Devils. Talford averaged 9.8 ppg last year. Talford is the leader on the floor for the Red Devils. Talford hits the offensive glass for several put backs. Talford does most of his damage in the paint. Talford came on this summer playing with the Carolina Pressure AAU team.
