The Palmetto State Recruiting News is back after covering the Prep Hoops 250 Expo last week. Lets take a look at some tid bits from around the state.
Jaron Williams informed Prep Hoops recently that he will take his skills to Longwood University next fall. Williams from York Prep played this past summer with Upward Stars – York County on the AAU Circuit. Longwood University Head Coach Jason Gee and Assistant Dr. Ron Bradley courted Williams around during the NCAA July period. Williams is ranked #11 in the Prep Hoops 2018 Palmetto State Class.
Sadarius Bowser has decided to end his recruitment early for next season. Bowser has committed to Charleston Southern University in the Big Souh Conference. Bowser played this summer on the AAU Circuit with SC Supreme. Bowser hails from Gaffney HS.Bowser is ranked #16 in the Prep Hoops 2018 Palmetto State Class.
Samuel Woods informed Prep Hoops that he has received strong interest from Mount Olive (NC), Lees-McRae College (NC) and Anderson University (SC). Woods 6’8 left-handed forward plays at Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach. Woods played this past summer with Manzer Basketball Academy after playing in the spring Big Shots.
Woods is currently playing football for the Saints as wide receiver. Woods is ranked #36 in the Prep Hoops 2018 Palmetto State Class.
JaSean Morris (2021) a promising freshman has told Prep Hoops that he has left Dreher HS and transferred to AC Flora HS. Morris was first seen by Prep Hoops back in April on the AAU Circuit with Team United South Carolina.
Bryson Earle has transferred to Cardinal Newman for this coming season. Earle played AAU with the Karolina Khaos this summer.
Jermaine Patterson scored 4 touchdowns for the Bluffton Bobcats in last weeks game vs Whale Branch HS. Patterson a guard recorded 167 yards in the 51-22 victory. Patterson played AAU with Upward Stars Southeast 2018.
Patterson checks in at #41 in the 2018 class.
