“Gabe Bryant has committed to Gardner Webb. Gardner Webb did an excellent job recruiting Gabe. They probably recruited him the longest and hardest and made it known he was a priority” said Dorman Head Coach Thomas Ryan.
Bryant took a official to Gardner Webb this past weekend and visited Lipscomb University the week before.
“Gabe is improving every day. His best basketball is down the road as he continues to progress. I expect Gabe to be a impact player for us this year in the post” said Ryan.
Bryant 6’9 helped the Cavaliers win a 5-A State Championship last season over Blythewood. Bryant who is home-schooled played AAU wih the Atlanta All Stars.
Terence MackTerence Mack has found a new address for this coming season. Mack a member of the Hartsville basketball team for the past 3 years will play at Trinity-Byrnes this coming season. Mack informed Prep Hoops that he transferred to to the Darlington, SC SCISA school. Mack a left-handed guard will suit up and play football for Titans this fall besides basketball.
Mack played AAU with the Carolina Wolves. Mack has signed up to play in the Prep Hoops 250 Expo in 2 weeks in Myrtle Beach, SC. The event will be on Sunday September 17 at the brand new Myrtle Beach Sports Center.
Kassius “Jay” Williams has informed Prep Hoops that he will be returning to the Grand Strand area and will play at Socastee HS this coming season. Williams played this past season at University Prep Charter School in Rochester, NY. Williams a left-handed guard has spent time at Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach and Gray Collegiate before going to New York State this past season. Williams a guard is in the 2019 class. Williams played AAU this past summer with Albany City Rocks 16U and Shoot for Change Elite.
