Overall Thoughts on Season
Reasons for success 2017-Per College coaches. The kids play basketball the “right-way” and they play hard. One of the funniest teams for me to watch all season. I heard this routinely from D2, NAIA and D3 coaches.
Top performers
Jake Pygon- 5’11 athletic point guard. Quarterback of the team, fast, does it all for us, 1.4 turnovers a game. True point guard.
Jack Halverson- 6’7 athletic player that can get by people and shoot it. Tough match-up for teams.
Jason Pygon- 6’1 guard Best defender, hit almost 30 three pointers in July alone. 2nd in defensive rebounds season
All 3 are getting recruited by St. Xavier, North Central, Dubuque, Loras, Carroll and some others.
Joe Buggemi-6’3 versatile wing player. High IQ, Led team 46% three point shooting. Also, sho 81% free throw. Beloit, Lawrence and COE College recruiting him.
