Talen Horton-Tucker Cuts List
Simeon 2018 small forward Talen Horton-Tucker has cut his list to 13 schools heading into the fall of his senior season. The state’s top small forward tells us those schools are the following:
Illinois
Michigan State
Georgia Tech
Florida State
Kansas
St. Louis
Dayton
Mizzou
Iowa State
Ohio State
Xavier
Georgetown
Michigan
THT says that the number 13 has a special meaning for him and why he decided to narrow it to that specific number.
“Because that’s how old I was when my grandmother passed away and I know she would’ve been an important part in my decision so 13 was the number I wanted.”
The Simeon star told us what the next step is in the process.
“Right now I just want to focus on the last schools in my process and get ready for school. Focus on winning city and state.”
What is his timeline for visits and ultimately a commitment?
“Yea I am taking visits in the fall then the decision is up in the air after that.”
Right now he does not have any officials visits locked in and is going to focus on that after the start of open gyms at Simeon beginning in September.
THT is a 6’5” small forward that is a crafty wing knowing how to get where he wants on the floor to get stuff done. He handles the ball exceptionally well for a wing and has the body control to finish at the cup. What we like most about his game is his ability to be a stat sheet stuffer and contributes in a variety of areas. Scores, dishes, rebounds, etc. He had a monster July with Team Rose on the circuit to close out his grassroots career!
