Summer recap: Kansas Players (15U)
Featuring some of the top young talent in Kansas, the Kansas Players are putting together a strong summer under coach Bryan Campbell.
“We came over from another program to join this program and we just wanted to get exposure and get out and play on the Adidas Gauntlet this spring and summer and get on the circuit and give the kids an opportunity to be seen,” Campbell said. “First of all, we want them to become better people and to become better basketball players through the opportunities that we have.
“It is an opportunity for the get out and see ccmpetiive basketball that is being played across the country, not just in Kansas.”
Andover Central’s Xavier Bell is a big, strong, athletic 6’3, 160-pound wing player.
“He is a good kid who wants to work on his game and become better,” Campbell said.
Jordan Vincent is the younger brother of Dylan Vincent who got significant playing time off the bench last season as a freshman for Eisenhower. Vincent is a 6’1, 155-pound guard.
Shawn Warrior is a 6’3, 170-pound guard from Wichita Southeast who is highly regarded.
