Richard Montgomery HS Team Overview: College Prospects
Richard Montgomery Rockets HS. Rockville, MD.
Head Coach: David Breslaw
Assistant Coach: Azhar Shamsudeen
Head Richard Montgomery HS Coach David Breslaw enters his 4th season & the Rockets have thrived under his leadership. Prior to his arrival,in 2014/15 RM finished @ 10-14, 10-16, & 11-13 in 3 consecutive years . Last year Richard Montgomery posted a 20-5 record & in the previous 2 seasons recorded records of 22-2 & 19-5. This coming season, we rate RM as a top 4 team in Montgomery County in the pre season. The Rockets have a nice blend of size, experience & athleticism. Two transfers will play a big role this season, each of whom did not play in MD Elite Summer League & this could possibly catch some MOCO teams off guard. The Rockets play in the MOCO 4A West Section 1 consisting of BCC, Walt Whitman, Montgomery Blair, Churchill, Walter Johnson & Northwood. We believe the top 3 teams will be Richard Montgomery, BCC & Walt Whitman while the 4A West Section will be a 6 team race.
