Recruiting Report: Logan Windeler (2018)
Class of 2018 Logan Windeler is a 6’8” power forward that attends Victory Rock Prep in Florida, but is originally from Manteno, Illinois. He is a face up four man that is known for his perimeter shooting. When he is in rhythm he can be a very effective shooter as a floor spacing four. Also shows some of his underappreciated athleticism with slashes on occasion. Looking more comfortable handling the ball. This is a prospect that would be worth consideration at the low-major level as well as for D2 schools. Played his travel team ball with Example Sports. What was his role on the team this July as the leader?
“The old big brother basically. I have to show them because I have been to places and had opportunities they haven’t.”
His ball handling has shown improvement since last summer.
“I am learning how to put it on the floor way better. I have been really working on that this whole off season. Working on new moves and getting to the basket. I can knock down shots, but I don’t want to just be a shooter.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I have three offers from American University, Northern Michigan, and Lewis.”
He told us what he will be looking for in a school.
“I am looking for somewhere I can play and be a good fit for them.”
