Recruiting Report: Dashon Enoch (2019)
Class of 2019 guard Dashon Enoch is a powerful combo guard out of Oak Park River Forest is a beast attacking downhill. Strong and explosive first step that he attacks his man and finishes well at the rim on a consistent basis through traffic. Takes quality angles. Flashes improvement on perimeter shot. Solid passer, but will need to continue to improve his feel to be a full time point at the next level. More of a combo at this stage.
He chatted about his summer with Made Men 16U.
“We have had some ups and downs. We are two different teams at times. Sometimes we come ready to play and other times we don’t. I am trying to be more of a point guard instead of just a slasher. I am looking to get people the ball and score when I have too.”
Improvement was definitely seen in his game.
“I think my jump shot got a lot better. I go to school and put up a lot of shots. I think my vision has gotten better seeing the floor.”
How did June go with his high school team?
“It went good. I think we playe d like 32 games and lost only eight. It was fun playing with Charlie Hoehne and Isaiah Fuller. I have to be a leader first. We lost a lot of bigs with Jared Scott and Cam Gross. We still have Charlie so I think we are going to do a lot of five out and ball screens.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I just got offered by Western Illinois. I am talking to Tulsa, Illinois State, and UW-Milwaukee.”
What does he like about WIU?
“I like the coach. Josh Wolfe the assistant and the head coach really hit home for me.”
Any schools he wants to visit?
“I want to get to UW-Milwaukee and Central Michigan.”
