Recruiting Report: Brigham Booe (2018)
The class of 2018 is really getting into its groove with recruiting this fall and some prospects are starting to get going. Of the positions in this class, the point guards are the ones leading the way and one of those guys is Northview (IN) point Brigham Booe.
Booe, a 6’1 guard from the Terre Haute area has been a guy that has drawn in a variety of attention following up a good summer playing with DistinXion CHAMPIONS 2018. He was able to show off his toughness, and strength as well as his ability to really shoot the ball. He’s a guy that can get going from deep and when he’s locked in, he has a motor that can’t be beat.
A few programs are really showing their interest in Brigham. Schools like Purdue Northwest, Franklin, and Malone have been in on him this summer. The DII interest has been the strongest to this point and while Booe is wide open, he has a few things he is looking for. Right now, he is looking into a Business or Forestry degree. He’s also a two-sport athlete.
Brigham is also a standout in baseball and holds an offer from Olney Central already. Indiana State, Southern Indiana, and Illinois State are other programs that are looking into him for baseball. Right now, Brigham is open to either sport and doesn’t have a preference in either. This fall recruiting cycle could have some bearing on that if his interest continues to grow.
