Recruiting Report: Antonio Reeves (2019)
Former Kenwood 2019 combo guard Antonio Reeves was a key cog for the Mac Irvin Fire in their run to the NY2LA Association championship game back in July. He is a plus shooter with a clean looking stroke. Also showed he is more than just a shooter displaying better handles than we had seen in the past this summer. Reeves has transferred to Arizona for his junior season where he will play his next two seasons at Shadow Mountain.
What was it like playing up on the 17U level for the Fire’s NY2LA team?
“It is a great experience. Everybody plays with each other well. We win games and move the ball well. My role is to shoot the ball from the corners and everywhere around the three point line.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I am hearing from Northern Arizona and Chicago State. I have offers from both.”
He broke down the two schools that he has offers from.
Northern Arizona
“It is a great school. It is a D1 school. There are a lot of good players that go there.”
Chicago State
“It is a great school too. It is in the city and is close to where I live. It is a D1 school too.”
