Prep Spotlight: Zach Baldinelli (Boiling Springs)
Baldinelli 6’2 left handed shooting guard averaged 15 points, 4.1 assists, and 4.0 rebounds this year for the Bulldogs. Baldinelli a deceptive athlete can knockdown the mid-range jumper or attack the baseline. Baldinelli has great floor vision and will score the ball in many different ways.
How was your season at Boiling Springs?
Overall it was good. As a team we didn’t do want we wanted, but we were young so there is a ton of room to grow.
What is your exceptions for next season at Boiling Springs?
I don’t expect anything less than a Region and State Championship. We’ve worked hard this summer and I think we have something special coming this season.
How was AAU this season playing with Upward Stars White-16U?
AAU went really well. We had a very good team that could compete with just about anyone. I performed well in every tournament we played in.
Any accomplishment and awards you receive this year?
I made the Farm Bureau Insurance All-Tournament team, Defensive Player of the Year at Boiling Springs, I-85 All-Tournament team and the Bob Gibbons All-Tournament team.
What skills can help you at the next level?
At the next level I feel like be playing more point guard, so by improving my ball handling, passing, Court IQ, and leaderships can help me at the next level.
What skills do you need to improve on for the next level?
The next level is going to be tough so I’m going to need to improve on everything.

I have an offer from St. Andrews University.
