Jordan Burch (2020) is on the move for next season. Burch 6’5 played this past season at Wilson HS (Florence). Burch looks to be headed to the Hammond School in Columbia. Burch a left-handed physical specimen played his 8th grade year at South Florence HS before playing for the Tigers this season. Burch looks to be playing football for the Skyhawks. Carolina Wolves AAU Coach Major Williamson confirmed Burch moving to Hammond.
Burch a versatile player on the hardwood saw good minutes this past season for the 22-1 Tigers. The Tigers lost in the Lower State Championship Game to eventual state champion Lower Richland HS.
Brandon Martin (2017) has confirmed to Prep Hoops that he will play at St Thomas More in Connecticut this coming fall. Martin 6’5 played the past 3 seasons at Cardinal Newman. Martin the son of University of South Carolina Head Coach Frank Martin played AAU this summer with the South Florida Elite. Martin averaged 10 ppg and 7.7 rebounds this past season for the Cardinals.
Former South Carolina Gamecock Duane Notice played at St Thomas More for legendary Head Coach Jere Quinn.
Jaivion Garrett has confirmed to Prep Hoops that he will be moving to Washington State to continue his high school career. Garrett (2019) played at Goose Creek HS. Garrett played this past summer with Upward Stars Southeast 2019. Garrett was a All-Region 7-AAAAA Player this season. for the Gators.
Several players will be on the move this season leaving the Palmetto State. Dontarius James, Trey McGowens, Daniel Sackey, Delmar Moore, Javarzia Belton and Ta’Lon Cooper.
Malik CokleyMalik Cokley (2017) Laurence Manning Academy has informed Prep Hoops that he will play at Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, NC this coming fall. Cokley a left-handed guard averaged 9 ppg this season for the Swampcats. Cokley will be a post-graduate for the Warriors.
