Intro: Max Williams (2019)
Class of 2019 wing Max Williams is a 6’1” two guard out of Latin that doesn’t blow you away with his athleticism, but just gets things done! He is a sound perimeter shooter that is sneaky taking it to the cup on baseline drives and competes on the defensive end of the floor. One to track to see how the athleticism, size, and skill progress.
Williams chatted about his summer with Made Men 16U.
“I have been playing ok. I need to improve my defense. I think I have been shooting the ball from deep.”
What are his strongest attributes in his game?
“Definitely shooting off the catch and off screens. Being physical, communicating, and helping my teammates.”
Williams spoke about getting back together with Latin which should be a sleeper team in the Chicago area this year behind a underrated 2019 group of prospects.
“In June we did pretty well. We lost most of our upperclassmen, but we have a good group with our incoming juniors so I think we will have a good season next year.”
