Best Players Of the Summer C/O 2018 (Pt.2)
Northside HS 2018 PG Kenny Dye: He has all the tools that you love for a PG to have, runs a team, low turnovers and a nice IQ for the game. Understands how to score the ball in multiple ways and brings effort on the defensive end of the floor, High D2 and Low Major interest.
Northside HS 2018 Forward Demetrius Jones: A multisport athlete that will have to be on point all season long if Northside HS expects to repeat as state champs. He’s automatic from the high post and can make plays above the rim, does a good job on the defensive boards
SYF Players 2018 Guard Deandre Gholston: One of the best scorers that I got the chance to see at the event, he has a smooth game overall and is what we would call a natural scorer. He never gets rushed into anything and gets to his hot spots fairly easily, his frame allows him to take embrace contact without being thrown off at all. He’s off the board at this point as he has verbally committed to Kent State University.
Fayetteville Elite 2018 Malik Johnson: He’s picked up two D1 offers this spring and you don’t have to watch him long to see how it’s done. He has a nice mixture of talent and flair to his game, he can score it well and doesn’t back down from any challenge he is faced with.
Durham Hurricanes 2018 Wing Jordan Love: He recently received his first D1 offer from Coppin State and the list should grow before much longer, he’s 6’5 with a nice wingspan and skillset. Has a very nice amount of potential and overall is a nice kid and good student, whatever school get him is getting a good one.
KC Pacers 2018 PG Diego Bernard: A guard with tremendous speed and quickness, he has caught the attention of D2 programs around the country and even some D1 programs. He has the attributes that you love for a guard to have: toughness, speed and IQ. Whatever guard that gets matched up with him is in for a long day without a doubt.
