Battle for The City Crown – Event Recap 2017
The Battle for the Crown 253 vs. 206 was all that and more. Featuring some of the biggest name in the state. This game is one for the ages.
On August 12, 2017, if you do not have anything planned the place to be was Sealth High School in Seattle, Washington at 12pm. You would have had a front row seat to watch some of the most talented and gifted young men go head to head in a battle of city game. You will also witness two of the top coaches in the business. Most of these young men in the following year you will require a ticket to see and have to travel thousands of miles to watch. This is one of the most anticipated games of the year. You had to have gotten there early to get a good seat.
There were so many exciting things that happened at the game August 12th at Sealth High School in Seattle, Washington. The gym was packed the stars were out and the warm up lines were filled with amazing dunks showcasing these kids and their athleticism. Tacoma vs. Seattle will be a game that all basketball fans will look forward to every year.
Some of the top talent that participated in this game were, Erik Stevenson (Wichita State Commit), Tre Anderson (D1 high-level recruit) and Emmitt Matthews Jr (D1 high level recruit), 6’7 guard CJ Elleby, Kevin Porter Jr. Standing at 6’5, 6’5 swing Noah Robinson from O’Dea High School out of Seattle, Washington.
Tacoma WA Shut the gym down with some dazzling play in the 2nd half. They went on a stretch where they scored 20 straight points, which sent the fans from the stands to the court in a frenzy. Pierre finished with 29pts leading Tacoma over Seattle 127-118. Pierre was hitting jumpers, drives, floaters then started hitting shots with guys draped all over him but that was after he made Seattle guys fall to ground after sick crossovers. Pierre Also has eyes behind his head great court vision.
