Team Takeover 16 & U great Nike EBYL season comes to end in Peach Jam semifinals.
Despite losing to team CP3 in the Peach Jam semifinals this weekend, Team Takeover 16 & u proved they are one of the top 2 teams on the Nike EBYL Circuit this year which comprises of 48 teams. Congratulations to the Team Takeover family which had great seasons for the 17 & U who lost in the Peach Jam finals today, and the 16 U who technically only had one loss which was in the Peach Jam semifinals this weekend on Saturday July 15.
PEACH JAM SEMIFINALS TTO 16 & U, July 15

Most experts thought the 2 best teams in Nike EBYL 17 & U circuit were TTO & CP3 and record wise and studying both teams opponents this is very possibly true. In the regular season TTO defeated CP3 62-59 which was CP3’s lone loss of the regular season as Chris Paul’s Grassroots team finished in 1st place at 12-1 while TTO placed 2nd place @ 11-1 with a controversial forfeit over a flight issue. The Nike EBYL 16 & U circuit consists of 48 teams. In the Peach Jam semifinals Team CP3 lead by 7 at the half and this was their margin of victory. 6’0″ PG & Virginia Tech 2019 commit Keyshaun Langley ked CP3 with 17 points, followed by 6’5″ 2019 F Wendell Moore who is ranked #24 nationally & scored 15 & grabbed 12 boards, 6’7″ C, Kobe Mack a star committed to Virginia Teach scored 9 points on 3-3 shooting, 4 star 2019 6’1″ PG & Virginia Tech commit Kobe Langley added 6 points & Dericko Williams collected 8 rebounds & blocked 3 shots. Jeremy Roach led TTO with 21 points (7-13), 4 rebounds & 3 assists and Earl Timberlake had a huge game with 12 points on 5-8 shooting, 14 rebounds and should be a top 40 player for 2020. Sharpshooter Casey Morsell was off vs Mokan Elite, but is still a very big stock riser this spring & summer. Charles Thompson played very well scoring 6 points & grabbing 7 rebounds and Dadan Young added 6 points.

July 15: W TTO 57 Mokan Elite 53 (KS)
6’3″ St. Johns College HS CG Casey Morsell hit 8-11 FGs & 1-3 three pointers totaling 22 points to lead TTO over a very tough Mokan Elite team from Kansas. Fellow back-court mate WCAC & Paul VI PG2020 PG Jeremey Roach added 11 points, 5 rebounds & 5 assists, while WCAC & Gonzaga HS PF Terrence Williams added 9 points & 7 rebounds and up and coming St. Albans HS 6’8″ Charles Thompson scored 6 points to go with 6 rebounds. De’Andree Sorells lead Mokan with 18 points hitting 6 for from 3 & Blaise Keita grabbed 10 rebounds as Mokan Elite fell to 10-3 overall on he Nike EBYL Circuit.
On July 14, Team Takeover routed EITI (FL) by a score of 64-42. Statistics do not match the score totals with 12 Team Takeover points missing. We have Jeremy Roach scoring 18,with EJ Jarvis, Earl Timberlake and Terrence Williams grabbing 8, 7 & 7 rebounds each. Earl Timberlake, Dadan Young, & Terrence scored 8, 7 and 5 points while, Joshua Watts, and Charles Thompson (4 boards) each scored 4 points.

Team Takeover 16 & U was technically undefeated before entering the Peach Jam @ 12-0, with one loss a controversial forfeit loss to Mokan Elite (KS) over plane scheduling error thus placing TTO @ 12-1. Team Takeover won both of their games on July 13 over Expressions Elite & Mebo Express with game recaps in the last section of this article.

Expressions Elite took TTO to overtime, but TTO outscored EE 12-3 in OT. Dedan Young led TTO with 17 points on 8-14 shooting, 2 steals, & 2 assists & Earl Timberlake added 14 points & 6 boards. Terrance Williams had a double double with 11 points & 11 rebounds, Jeremey Roach & Casey Morsell chipped in with 11 & 9 points. EE was led by Joe Pridgen who totaled 14 points & 11 boards, while Darian Tate & Dyondre Dominquez scored 11 & 10 points.

TTO came from behind in a close to win the game behind Terrance Williams 19 points & Jeremy Roach’s 15 points & 4 assists, Casey Morsell added 9 points & 3 rebounds, EJ Jarvis added 6 points & 4 rebounds & Joshua Watts scored 4 points with 4 rebounds. Jakorie Smith led Mebo with 17 points on 7-10 shooting & Kira Lewis Jr. scored 11 on 4-14 from the field.
