Prep Hoops SC has been in Spartanburg, SC since Wednesday. Prep Hoops SC took in some more action from Summer Havoc Live Event today. Here is a look at some Palmetto players and teams.
The Karolina Khaos 16U have added some new faces to the mix in Trae Hannibal, Jordan Burch, Allen Williamson and Jahnarious Snell. The Khaos had know problem in winning there opener vs Bluff City at Spartanburg Day School. The Khaos led the whole game and led by 22 points at halftime.
GSP Unified 17U played with just 6 guys today vs Inspire Atlanta 17U. GSP Unified was led in scoring by Wells Hoag (2018) and Magic Moody (2019) . Hoag a crafty guard hit some open shots today and looked to have a good feel for the game. Hoag plays at Greenville HS. Moody arrived at halftime after playing in the Adidas Gauntlet with SC Supreme. Moody a left-handed guard plays at nearby Greer HS.
Marlow Gilmore (2019) scored 29 points in the Columbia Hoyas victory over the New World All Academic (VA). Gilmore looks to get better every time Prep Hoops sees him play. Gilmore a extremely athletic wing player can really play above the cylinder. Gilmore had several blocks today on the defensive end and really excels in the transition game.
Team South Carolina 17U defeated Team Vision (KY) in a close game today. Grant Singleton (2018), Tuzion Brock (2018) and Raymond Williams (2018) caused havoc in the back court for Team South Carolina 17U. Singleton has a quick step and burst by you around the corner. Singleton is also a threat on the perimeter with his shooting. Brock plays with so much passion and desire on the floor. Williams can really knock down shots when he gets it going.
Kyle RawsonEarly in the morning at Gable Middle School Prep Hoops saw Kyle Rawson play. Rawson from 22ft Academy is playing AAU with Gateway Basketball Club on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit. Rawson (2018) a left-handed forward has a great skilled set and moves well around the floor.
