Saint Francis To Host Grassroots Challenge This Wednesday
The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne will host their first annual Grassroots Challenge on Wednesday as the live period opens back up for the final week of recruiting. They will have a slew of talented local programs coming in for the 1-day tournament before they head to other local events in the Midwest.
Some of the top 2018 programs they will have in include Team Focus 2018, OPS 2018, Men of the Family, Indy Heat Red 2018, NW Ohio Basketball Club, Michigan Goonies, and IE Beauchamp 2018. As for the 2019 programs they will have Indiana Elite Diesel, NW Ohio, Indy Heat Red, Indy Tempo, Indiana Elite Force, Indy Dawgs, Hoop Dreams, and Michigan Goonies.
The event will get underway on Wednesday at 1:00 PM ET and finish up 8:35 PM ET. All games will take place at Saint Francis Gym and their North Campus Main Gym.
The event should provide some great matchups between some top talent in the Midwest. For small schools looking for talent, guys like Lucas Lehrman, Jalan Mull, Brandan Johnson, Chaz Birchfield, and Asher Blum in 2018. As for guys to watching the class of 2019 at the event, look for Nate Soltis, Andrew Owens, Brennan Neal, and Elijah Hales.
