Recruiting Report: Ryan Kutsor (2018)
Lake Zurich 2018 wing Ryan Kutsor is a tough wing that has the ability to shoot it off the catch. We caught up with the rising senior to chat about his spring with Kessel Heat and where things stand with his recruitment.
He broke down his spring with Kessel Heat 17U.
“We had some new kids this spring season and I thought after a couple tournaments together our team really started to gel together and play better. Personally I had an ok spring season. I just didn’t have any big breakout games that I was looking for.”
Where did he see improvement in his game?
“Probably my ball handling and athleticism/condition this past June.
Speaking of June, Lake Zurich had a strong run with their high school team.
“My summer with Lake Zurich went really well. Adding JR Cison with his transfer from Viator is helping us out a lot. Giving us a pure point guard. We are starting to play really well together as a team and can score really well when we get going.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“Not a whole lot recently. I was at the Colgate elite camp and kept in touch with the coaches, but other than that nothing lately.”
Kutsor is the #65 overall prospect in 2018 and #17 shooting guard in Illinois.
