Prospect Spotlight: Pierre Crockrell (2019)
The 6’0 155 pound Class of 2019 standout Pierre Crockrell is running with Dream Vision AAU out of California this summer. His outstanding play during the live period has surely not gone unnoticed. Heavy interest from some of the local and non local schools are starting to pile up for the young ball player.
Hailing from Tacoma, Washington Pierre Crockrell is making his name a household one as he gets closer to his final years of high school. He is currently ranked #4 in the state of Washington. Ranked #36 at his position which is point guard and is ranked #133 nationally. Currently enrolled at Prolific Prep school in California. He is an absolute nightmare for opposing guards. Standing 6’0 most would consider that a little on the undersized side. When you look at his body composition he actually looks about 2 inches talker because he has some muscle mass. This young man can get to the rim at will and can make others around him better.
Strengths: A great ball handler, most compare his shiftiness to that of Jeff Teague. He has a good consistent jump shot and has developed a tear drop that I swear touches the clouds before going in. He is a good on ball defender who can pressure 94 feet. He is a elite creator for himself and others.
Off-Season Improvements: His 3 point shot needs a little more consistency.
In a recent interview Pierre took us down memory lane and described his experience with the game, how it has impacted him and his family and what the future looks like for him.
