Prospect Report: Shamrock Campbell (2018)
The All GSL boys basketball stand out from Ferris high school out of Spokane, Washington Class of (2018) 6’1 guard Shamrock Campbell is one of the top guards in his class.
Shamrock is looking to have a standout year with Ferris High School coming off a strong summer. He is really starting to turn heads and get the attention of college programs. True point guard mentality with the ability to score the ball from all three levels in a multitude of ways.
Shamrock is a quick guard with a lot of speed. He works hard on both ends of the floor, but is really known for his intense defensive presence, causing havoc towards opposing guards.
“I think I did a good job of leading the team and being the floor general. Knowing when to make plays and when to dish it off while being vocal is something I’ve worked on and will continue to work on.”
“AAU is going good for me right now, I really look forward to picking up some looks July” said Campbell.
Shamrock shows great leadership on the court and gets to the hoop pretty easy, blowing past defenders. He still has a lot of work to do this off season on his jump shot.
This is just the beginning for this young man. His name will continue to be on college program scouting reports throughout his final two years of high school. Keep an eye on him as his recruiting is sure to take off.
