Prep Hoops Indiana Senior Showcase – Tony’s Standout Point Guards
Prep Hoops Indiana Senior Showcase
Class of 2018 – Point Guards
Antwaan Cushingberry – 5’8” | Crispus Attucks High School
Although undersized, Antwaan finishes with the best of them around the rim. His jumper looked improved at the showcase and he is a threat at getting into the lane every possession. He is starting to become a true point guard by looking to create opportunities before he looks for his own offense. Cushingberry attacked hips and kept the ball low to limit his turnovers on the day.

Dylan Penn – 6’2” | Evansville Memorial High School
Dylan was one of the more impressive point guards on the day. His length and athleticism was bothersome on defense and he pushed the ball well in transition. Penn does better with the ball in his hands and sees the floor extremely well. He has more confidence in his jump shot which will allow him to create easier openings to drive to the basket. He was the best on-ball defender at the showcase and lead his team well. Good vocal leader.

Christian Harvey – 6’0” | Richmond High School
Harvey is one of the more dynamic scorers in the Class of 2018. From the looks of his game at the showcase, he has been working on his jumper from deep and his court awareness. He knocked down the long ball with consistency throughout the day. He also showed his passing skills with ball-screen action. Harvey has added strength to his frame which allows him to finish better in around the basket.

Jeremy Davison – 6’0” | Leo High School
Jeremy had his offensive game working at the showcase. He showed that he can knock down the deep ball with consistency and get to the paint and score. Davison is one of the more creative guards in this class with the ball in his hands. He still needs to add some strength to shrug off physical defenders but his creativity allows him to get around his man in one on one situations. Smart defensive player who notices tendencies quickly.

Hunter White – 6’3” | Indianapolis Tindley High School
Hunter White has grown in the past year but that hasn’t changed his skill set. He is still a guard that looks to create off the bounce and is an elite passer with his size at the point position. He looked more comfortable in the mid-range than from deep but has shown improvement on his jump shot from last season. White is crafty around the rim with finishes. Works well off of ball screen action and is a good pocket passer.

Eli Streeval – 6’1” | Morristown High School
Streeval was a head turner at the showcase. Early on in game action, he rose up against Donald Lee and tried to throw one down. Eli is sneaky athletic and extremely quick. His first step was the quickest in the gym. Great defender both on ball and off ball. He had a couple chase down blocks in the half court. On offense, he is better going to the basket as a slasher than a shooter. Intriguing prospect to keep an eye on.
Jamil Turner-Hall – 6’0” | Hamilton Southeastern High School
Jamil impressed on both ends of the floor on Saturday. Not only did he play lock-down defense on the opposing point guard, he was a tough hold on the offensive end of the floor. Turner-Hall go to the basket at will and created easy opportunities for himself and his teammates. His ball skills have improved along with his court awareness. As a point guard, he is starting to understand his role and what he needs to do well for his team.

Jalan Mull – 6’0” | Blackhawk Christian High School
Jalan Mull is one of the quickest players in the state with the ball in his hands. He was a one-man fast break multiple times off of defensive rebounds. Mull was the best player working off ball screens and the best passer at the showcase. He is the definition of a true point guard and has shown great improvement on his jump shot. Jalan is strong with the ball in his hands and seems to make the right pass every possession. Great point guard prospect.

Jalen Moore – 5’10” | Cloverdale High School
Jalen Moore had his coming out season last year with Cloverdale and has been improving ever since. Moore is creative off the bounce with his dribble and can get to any spot on the floor that he wants. The lefty showed that he can make the three-ball at a high rate as well. Smooth player who controls the game on the offensive end of the floor. Looked great in the open floor at the showcase.

Eddie Gill Jr. – 6’1” | Carmel High School
Eddie played well at the showcase and showed that he has been working on all facets of his game. His athleticism was on display in transition while his ball skills and shooting were shown in the half court. He is finishing better around the basket and looks much more comfortable with his jump shot. His court vision and awareness are areas that he has put in the work and they showed with some of his passes.
