Powerade Platform Finale: Standout 2018 Prospects
Detroit Spartans 2018 G Anthony Robertson: This young man is special, can score the ball in multiple ways, finishes in traffic and thru contact with ease. He has good ball handling skills and a nice amount of moves that allows him separation from opponents, already has the strength and solid frame for a college level prospect. In one game in particular he went on an 8-0 run by himself, knocking down back to back treys from beyond the college three point line and finishing a layup inside right after that.
Detroit Spartans 2018 G Trendon Hankerson: A floor general that truly understands how the game, and how his position should be played. He’s a low turnover guard and doesn’t get bothered by whatever pressure or trap defenses that are placed on him.
TAW 2018 Guard Dez Price: Was on fire from deep all day long, he’s not the tallest shooting guard prospect you will see but he can flat out shoot the ball. One thing I really liked about his game what that he didn’t try to do more than what was asked of him, he didn’t try to play the PG spot and facilitate. Instead he played to his strengths and scored the ball at a very high rate, very confident and talented player.
TAW 2018 Guard Christian Brooking: Another player that can shoot the ball well especially when coming off of screens. He doesn’t necessarily create a lot off the dribble for himself but is constantly moving which causes a headache for defenders.
Illinois Stars 2018 Guard Traveon Brown: A playmaking guard that is constantly looking to get others involved in the offense before himself, in these days of scoring guards it’s always nice to see a player like him that wants to get others involved.
Illinois Stars 2018 Forward Michael Vilet: A nice looking forward prospect, at 6’3 with nice size he has the potential to be solid at a numerous amount of programs.
