Las Vegas Classic 15u – Team Notes
The Las Vegas Classic is a nationally known showcase for ball players looking to gain more exposure. With over 100+ college coaches out and about to see the brightest and best talent there is to offer. The 15u teams were loaded this year and featured some of the top teams across the country.
As the aau basketball recruiting world moves on to the second live viewing period, the majority of the best teams in the northwest will descend on Salem for the Premier Hoops Oregon Showcase. Scheduled to be on hand watching the 100+ teams will be college coaches from the Pac 12, WCC, Big Sky, Mountain West, ACC, Big 12, WAC, Big West, as well as numerous D2, NAIA, D3, and junior college programs. This level of exposure will give players and teams maximum opportunity to impress college coaches and recruiting services. So what draws these college programs from all over the country? Teams and players, and this tourney has plenty of both! We took a quick look at some of the teams to watch in each division.
This bracket features high caliber teams even at this age group such as, CAL SUPREME EYBL, TEAM TEAGUE, TEAM CP3, TEAM FAST, SEATTLE ROTARY SELECT and HOUSTON ACS.

Lets take a look at the 15u PLATINUM ELITE bracket…
Cal Supreme – is a program out of California that features some of the top freshman in the state. Players like, Dylan Lemie, Alex Akins and Jordan Shakel lead the way for this young group. All 3 are potential Division 1 players and at a young age play with high IQ.
Team Teague – is a program out of Speedway, Indianapolis that features some of the top freshman in the state. Players like, Christopher Robinson, Cameron Alford, Ethan Watts and Corbin Spencer.
Team CP3- is a program from Greensboro, North Carolina that features some of the best freshman in the state. Players like, Reggie Dillard, DJ Austin, CJ Bradshaw and Shane Whitfield.
Team Fast – is a program out of West Linn, Oregon that host some of the top talent in Oregon. Players like, Diego Torres, Jaden Nielson, Kam Moore and Zach Brown.
RM5 Elite 15U EYBL was the sleeper in this tournament. Previously Mo Williams Elite they recently changed their name. They are a program out of Dallas, Texas and is lead by Coach Rodney Belcher and Joshua Woodson. They house some of the top talent in the Dallas area.
In this tournament during pool play RM5 Elite went 3-0 with a 21 point per game average margin of victory. They beat Seattle Rotary Select, Miami Vipers and Colorado Titans Gold to get to the championship. In the champion ship game they dethroned “TEAM CP3” who took the trophy last year.
