Big Shots : Charlotte 2019 SC Players
Prep Hoops SC saw plenty of talent at the Big Shots-Charlotte event this past weekend. Here is a look at some of the 2019 kids players from the Palmetto State we saw in the event.
Marlon “OJ” Hill – West Ashley HS / Premier Jammers
Hill came back to the Premier Jammers after running with the Karolina Khaos 16U in the spring. Hill a very explosive guard really likes to stalk the baseline. Hill has a great frame and looks like a defensive back.
Ja-Saun Pryor – Pinewood Prep (Summerville) / TMP 16U
Pryor confirmed to Prep Hoops that he will be attending Pinewood Prep this coming season. Pryor has been at Woodland HS (Dorchester). Pryor 6’3 wing player averaged 13.5 ppg and 5.8 rebounds last season for the 13-11 Wolverines.
Pryor really explodes to the basket with a quick first step. Pryor likes to play out in transition and excels in a up-tempo style of play. Pryor wasn’t shy at all to pop from 22 feet and beyond.
Trae Hannibal – Hartsville HS / Carolina Wolves 16U
Hannibal is explosive guard that can really get to the basket when he wants to. Hannibal can knockdown shots from all 3 levels on the floor. Hannibal will look to lead the Red Foxes this coming season. During the 1st NCAA Period Hannibal and some other Carolina Wolves 16U suited up with Karolina Khaos 16U.
Zeb Graham – Nation Ford HS (Fort Mill) / Team Charlotte 16U
Graham 6’1 point guard can really change directions well on the floor. Graham who shows a good basketball IQ has great court vision to find the open man. Graham was a 5A-All State performer this past season. Graham has a great mid-range game.
Chico Carter Jr.- Cardinal Newman / Team Charlotte 16U (pictured on front)
Carter 6’1 point guard can really get the ball to the basket. Carter is quick end to end on the floor. Carter has the ability to slash or pop-up for a nice mid-range jumper. Carter was recently offered by Youngstown State University.
Carter Jr. and Graham helped Team Charlotte win the 16U Bracket.
Darius Boatwright – Dillon HS / Big Shots South Carolina 16U
Boatwright has just been consistent all spring and summer. Boatwright 6’6 a small forward has really improved his game on the perimeter and it shows how confident he’s playing out there. Boatwright has great length and wingspan.
