University of Hawaii-Hilo offers Divant’e Moffitt
Divant’e Moffitt is a 6’2 combo guard from Spanaway Lake High School located in Spanaway, Washington received his first offer from University of Hawaii-Hilo.
Currently ranked #51 in Washington State this young ball player will move up quickly with his senior approaching. A shifty, quick and passionate player is how you would describe this young man. He most definitely one of the top guards in our area and has yet to show what he is truly capable of. He has some of the quickest hands I have ever seen on the defensive end. He plays with a high motor and a passion you only find in special players like himself. Playing for Washington Supreme and under the tutelage of Coach Carl Howell. Divant’e is maturing right before our eyes.
As exciting as it is to receive your first letter of interest. I am sure this is just the beginning. More low major D1 schools should start to look at this young man.
I asked Divant’e how his AAU season is going and what are some improvements he still feels he needs to make going into his senior year?
“AAU is good. Been playing with Washington Supreme and getting a lot of exposure. I would say my strengths are getting to the basket and getting my teammates involved. I would like to improve my jump shot and just be more consistent when it comes to my shooting. WA Supreme gives you the chance to play in front of many coaches so the recruiting process has been great so far. I’m excited to have received my first offer and look forward to continuing this journey.”
