South Carolina Team Camp : Stock Risers
Prep Hoops SC took in the action on the campus of the University of South Carolina for Frank Martin Team Camp. Here are some players that really caught our eye today and will for sure see themselves as Stock Risers.
Justin Amadi (2020) – Hillcrest HS (Simpsonville)
Amadi was a absolute beast on the boards on both ends of the floor today. Amadi is not playing AAU this season and when he does he runs with a local team. Amadi plays so much bigger than his size of 6’5. Amadi scored all of his points inside the paint and shows great explosion to the ball.
Amadi countless times today ran down rebounds and put backs on the glass. Prep Hoops recorded him with 15 rebounds and 17 rebounds today in 2 different games. Amadi will look to lead the Rams into the future.
Kerry Eaddy (2018) – Dutch Fork HS
Eaddy 6’4 undersized post battled all day in the post. Eaddy to my surprise is not a football player has a nice left-handed jump hook and can knockdown the 8-10 footer. Eaddy never seemed to shy away from contact and worked for position in the paint. Eaddy looks to play with some edge at times and wasn’t afraid to mix it up down low.
Eaddy plays AAU with Team Charlotte 17U
Daymond Tinsley (2020) – West Florence HS
Tinsley 6’3 is still a raw talent for the Knights and Head Coach Pete Ellis. Prep Hoops first saw Tinsley on Friday at Coastal Carolina Team Camp and got to watch him here today in the opening game of the camp. Tinsley is quite active and quick off the floor. Tinsley did hit the 6-8 foot jumper. Tinsley should see some minutes this season for the Knights.
Malik Wiles (2020) – Legacy Charter (Greenville)
Wiles is a newcomer to the Lions roster this season. Wiles played last season at Broome HS (Spartanburg) . Wiles averaged 7.2 ppg and 4 rebounds last season. Wiles came off the bench here for the Lions today. Wiles 6’2 is slender-sleek guard who can really knock down shots.
