Prospect Spotlight: Jimmy Kpadeh (2019)
Jimmy Kpadeh, a class of 2019 point guard at National Christian Academy, had some big games as a sophomore, and looks set to build off his progress moving forward. The Eagles lose four of their top five scorers from last season, and Kpadeh will be asked to help pick up the slack.
“I like getting my players involved, and score when I need to,” Kpadeh explained. “I take pride in getting the 50/50 balls.”
Kpadeh has always been a very talented player, but his attention to detail and understanding of the game have really improved. He will be relied on as a leader this year, and is evidently embracing that role.
“My ball handling skills and communicating with my teammates on the court have really improved,” Kpadeh stated. “I’m working on my change of speeds.”
While no one is recruiting Kpadeh at the moment, he should see that change by the end of his junior season. What can Kpadeh bring to a college program?
“A point guard that has a good motor, can bring the team together, and a floor general.”
