Phenoms Summer Jam Session
Prep Hoops took in some games at the Phenoms Summer Jam Session in Columbia, SC. Here is Part 1 from the event.
Julian Smith Spring Valley (Columbia) 2018
Smith 6’0 left-handed shooting guard is very aggressive on both ends of the floor for the Vikings. Smith dove on the floor several times today for loose balls. Smith looks to slash to the hole or will pop out for the open three.
Ryan McCrayRyan McCray Ben Lippen (Columbia) 2018
McCray 6’0 guard leads the Falcons offense up the floor. McCray has quick moves to basket and will pop out for a mid-range shot. McCray has the ability to create his own shot and plays with a great deal on confidence on the floor. McCray plays for All or Nothing on the AAU Circuit.
Jonathan Breeland Blythewood HS 2018
Breeland a point guard got the ball into the paint and looked to penetrate and kick several times today. Breeland likes to play fast more often than usual. Breeland plays AAU with the South Carolina Tigers.
Justice Hill Heathwood Hall (Columbia) 2018 (photo on the front)
Hill is a very athletic 6’2 undersized post player. Hill gets all of his points in the paint and on activity around the rim.
Bryson Earle Spring Valley (Columbia) Spring Valley 2019
Earle 6’1 combo guard. Earle scored 15 points in the win over Heathwood Hall. Earle can shoot from the mid-range and will drive to basket. Earle will be look to help the Vikings this season. Earle plays for Team South Carolina on the AAU Circuit.
Alden Gibbs Ben Lippen (Columbia) 2020
Gibbs big 6’5 forward plays below the rim and is a step slow laterally. Gibbs does work for position in the paint and will look to draw contact. Gibbs plays basketball and baseball for the Falcons.
