Palmetto State : Future Talent 2021
Prep Hoops SC is taking a look at some names to look for in the future from the 2021. These incoming freshmen could make some immediate impacts on there high school programs.
Denham Wojcik – Porter Gaud (pictured on front)
Wojcik the son of former College of Charleston Doug Wojcik plays AAU with TMP 16U and Head Coach Tron Grant. Wojcik a crafty guard plays with a fearless attitude and a lot of poise beyond his years. Wojcik has a very talented group of players around him that could possibly win a 3rd straight SCISA State Championship this coming season.
Cesare Edwards – Hartsville HS
Edwards 6’7 should see good minutes for the Red Foxes this season. Edwards is a long and agile post player who can can face-up and knockdown shots. Edwards plays AAU with Carolina Wolves (NC) 2k19.
John Butler – Christ Church (Greenville)
Butler attended Hillcrest Middle School in Simpsonville last season. Butler told Prep Hoops earlier this spring that he would attend JL Mann HS but things have changed. Butler is now enrolling at Christ Church. Butler 6’10 plays AAU with Team United. Butler with great length and 7’2 wing span can really change a game on the defensive end.
Adonis Davis – Blackville-Hilda HS
Davis has already played a few season on the varsity level for the Hawks. Davis runs AAU with the Central Carolina Force and really likes to overpower other players on the floor. Davis a quarterback on the middle school football team will look to do the same at the varsity level.
Sheldon Bradley – C.E. Murray HS
Bradley 6’5 attended D.P. Cooper Charter School in Salters last season. Salters, SC is located on 521 in Williamsburg and if you ever stop make a stop at Cooper’s General Store. Bradley plays AAU with Team Gerald. Bradley could see early minutes next season for the War Eagles.
Will Barber – Fairfield Central HS (Winnsboro)
Barber saw minutes last season for the Griffins. Barber 5’10 will look to lead a very young squad this season.
Tyreik Priestley – Newberry HS
Priestley was first seen last month in Spartanburg. Priestley already 6’5 was a physical presence in the paint and liked to play with contact.
