Intro: Justin Harmon (2019)
Curie sophomore Justin Harmon is a young 2019 prospect that is playing on All-In Athletics 15U squad this spring as he is young for his grade. Harmon is a smooth scoring guard at 6’4”. Quick release on shot allows him to get it off with ease from anywhere on the floor. Finishes well in transition. Overall you have to like the smoothness that he brings to the table as a player. Things seem to come effortless to him. We look forward to continuing to evaluate Harmon this summer and into his junior season.
Harmon ran with the Curie sophomore group that had an outstanding group of prospects and that turned into success on the floor.
“Last year I had a pretty good year. I averaged about 15 points and I did pretty good. We came up short in the city championship, but overall we did well. We only lost two games.”
He teamed up with Dajuan Gordon to form a dynamic scoring backcourt last season on the sophomore squad.
“We were the main scorers so the coach was always looking for us. He wanted us to score and we were the leaders of the whole team. It was a pretty good experience.”
What are his three biggest strengths as a player?
“Shooting, driving, and defense.”
Look for Harmon to get rotational minutes for Curie on the perimeter as a junior and could turn into an energy scorer for the CPS power.
