Battle at the Border: Part 2
Prep Hoops spent Friday night at the Dillon Intimidators Battle at the Border in Dillon.
Allen Williamson (2019) Wilson HS (Florence) Big Shots Elite
Williamson scored 21 points in the win over Florence International Basketball (SC). Williamson a 6’3 small forward. Williamson uses his big body and his length to his advantage. Williamson has a bit of a old school type of game. Williamson left-handed knocked down some three pointers in the close win.
Williamson has run with 3 different AAU teams this spring after today. Williamson generally plays with the Carolina Wolves. A few weeks back Williamson and some Carolina Wolves teammates played with the Karolina Khaos. Williamson helped the Tigers to the Class 4A Lower State finals this past March.
Corrian Wright (2018) Dillon HS Big Shots Elite
Wright a 5’9 guard scored 20 points in the win. Wright hit three three-pointers in the game. Wright helped the Wildcats get to Class 3A State Championship game. Wright will look to replace several seniors who have since moved on for next season in the Wildcats offense.
Darius Boatwright (2020) Dillon HS Big Shots Elite
Boatwright 6’7 has a bright future and has barely reached the surface. Boatwright tends to get better everytime we watch him play. Boatwright feels very comfortable bringing the ball up the floor and shooting it on the perimeter. Boatwright scored 10 points in the win today.
Kenynon Scott (2019) Darlington HS Florence International Basketball SC (pictured on the front)
Scott 5’9 guard scored 17 points in the loss today. Scott will look to help out the Falcons squad this coming season.
EJ Porter (2018) Florence Christian Carolina Stampede
Porter made his first start of the spring for the Carolina Stampede. Porter’s mother is the Womens Head Basketball Coach at Francis Marion University.
