Recruiting Report: Tyron Mosley (2018)
Huge fan of the type of player Orr 2019 Tyron Mosley has become over the last year.. The long and rangy prospect went from power forward to a point forward in the last six months. His ball skills and overall feel have improved so much. He joined the Illinois Wolves for his first event with the UAA team at Run N Slam mid-way through the spring. Still trying to get in the flow of things, but the potential is definitely there. Plays on the ball quite a bit making good decisions. As a scorer does most of his damage getting in the lane for runners/floaters. Jump shot is streaky. Hits a couple, but range can be extended. Love his upside on the defensive end as a lockdown defender with his length, lateral quickness, and anticipation. Low-major prospect.
Mosley discussed Orr’s run to a 2A state title.
“It was amazing because at the beginning of the season we had our differences, but at the end of the season we all came together as one to accomplish our goal of a state championship.”
He chatted with us about the biggest improvements in his game throughout the season.
“I have improved a lot. I handled the ball a lot better after I moved to the point guard position. I have to continue to work on my jump shot.”
The point-forward spoke about playing with the Illinois Wolves.
“I am looking to win a lot of games and get a lot of college looks. I know they are a good program that is on the UAA circuit which is a good circuit and they get kids into colleges.”
What is going on with recruiting?

He told us what he feels he can bring to a team at the next level.
“Versatility. I can guard any position and play any position.”
