Recruiting Report: 2018 W/F DeVaughn Thomas (Video)
Comeaux 2018 W/F DeVaughn Thomas has been on the radar of college programs for quite some time and he’s become one of Louisiana’s most sought after prospects in his class. A smooth, skilled and athletic 6’7” wing, Thomas has a versatile skill set that allows him to contribute on both ends of the floor.
Offensively, he’s a patient player that picks his spots carefully and is capable of scoring both in and outside the arc while also creating opportunities for teammates. On the other end, Thomas is an engaged defender that blocks shots with regularity and has shown toughness over the spring with NOLA23 as the 17U team’s primary player in the paint.
Thomas, who also handles his business in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA and a 21 on the ACT, reports offers from UAB, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, UNO, ULL, Louisiana Tech and Northwestern State. He also said UAB, Texas A&M and DePaul have been in contact the most as of late.
Here’s a look at what Thomas will bring to whichever program he chooses in the future:
