Intro: Rashaun Agee (2019)
Rashaun Agee is an intriguing post prospect in 2019. The 6’8” Bogan broad shouldered four man has some tools to work with. Can finish through contact at the rim with a strong body. Gets to the charity stripe where he shows form on his shot. Has potential to be a quality rebounder especially when he is aggressive and locked in. One to continue to track, but is very appealing with size and strength.
He is playing with the Mac Irvin Fire 16U in the Nike EYBL and chatted with us about how it is playing with and against some of the best players nationally.
“It is going great. We have to communicate more and work together more. We can win. We are a good team. We are athletic and can move the ball. We have the top guards in the city. I am doing great so far. I just have to play more physical. I can rebound and block shots.”
Agee talked about his game and his strengths as a player.
“I play aggressive and go for loose balls. I can knock down an open jumper. I can help the team win.”
How did his sophomore year go at Bogan?
“It was a good season. I think we should have won more games. Things happened. Like I got hurt.”
What areas is he looking to improve next season?
“Being able to put the ball on the floor. Being able to run the floor more and playing in the post.”
