Intro: Lance Mosley (2020)
Class of 2020 Lance Mosley is a rangy 6’3” combo guard that is extremely bouncy! The DePaul Prep 2020 guard loves to attack off the bounce on straight line drives. Gets to the rim with an explosive first step. At times can be a little wild around the rim. Mosley is a plus mid-range shooter pulling up from 15 feet with consistent accuracy. Hasn’t quite stretched it out to three at this point. Rebounds extremely well for his position on both ends.
Mosley broke down his freshman year at DePaul Prep.
“My freshman year went well. On varsity I helped when I could and on sophomores I did very good.”
What was the experience like being the feature player on the sophomore team and how will that help him going forward?
“It taught me how to get my teammates involved and being aggressive getting to the bucket.”
What did he learn throughout his first year of high school ball?
“It helped me realize I have to slow down and not go 100% all the time.”
Mosley broke down his game and the biggest assets he brings to a team at this stage.
“Athletic shooting combo guard. My strengths are attacking the bucket. Pull up and mid-range.”
Holy Cross came in to see him play during open gym. That is about it with recruiting. Look for things to continue to pick up for this Illinois Wolves 15U guard.
