Prep Hoops took in the action at the Greensboro Coliseum on Friday night. Prep Hoops was there to see all the boys from the Palmetto State play.
Robert Johnson (2019) Eau Claire- Team United South Carolina u16
Johnson 6’1 forward that is always around the basket. Johnson always trying to create steal and tale the ball to basket. Johnson score 15 points against Phoenix-Giles.
Latrell Taylor (2019) Keenan- Team United South Carolina 16U
Taylor 6’4 forward is quick off the dribble to the basket. Taylor showed a nice-mid range game. Taylor scored 13 points against Team Phoenix-Giles.
Mason Cooper (2019) Lexington- South Carolina Hornets 16U (picture on the front)
Cooper 6’0 guard connected on 4 three pointers to score a game-high 22 points against Mid State Magic. Cooper a catch-shoot player picked up three charges on the day.
Ryan Green (2019) – South Carolina Hornets 16U
Green is a 5’6 point guard that runs the offense for the Hornets. Green is always looking to give the ball to open man for the basket. Green also dribble through traffic. Green also scored 14 points against Mid State Magic.
Booker Cusaac (2019) River Bluff HS (Lexington) – South Carolina Hornets 16U
Cusaac 6’4 small forward moved very well around the floor. Cusaac altered some shots today. Cusaac likes to face-up from the elbow and he did that several times today. Cussac scored 14 points against Mid State Magic.
Omar Croskey (2019) Sumter HS – South Carolina Hornets 16U
Croskey 6’4 left-handed small forward has a nice quick shot release. Croskey has a slender frame and was able to hit a few three pointers today.
Saievon Williams (2020) Rock Hill HS – Upward Stars York County 16U
Williams 6’3 power forward played physical in the paint. Williams played bigget than his size. Williams scored 19 points in the win over PSB Select Gold.
