Grassroots : Big Shots-Rock Hill 2021-2022
The future tends to be very bright in the Palmetto State with basketball talent. This past weekend Prep Hoops SC took in the action at Big Shots – Rock Hill. Here are some players that you will want to be focusing on in the years to come.
Omazeon Tinsley (2021) – A.R. Rucker M.S. – Team United NC
Tinsley 5’3 point guard led this talented Team United offense all day long. Tinsley will have a chance to suit up for the Lancaster HS Bruins next season. Tinsley got into the gaps and penetrated – kicked all day long. Tinsley has the ability to change the pace of the game.
John Butler (2021) – Hillcrest M.S. – Team United NC
Butler already stands at 6’9 and the future is very bright for him. Butler told Prep Hoops that he will J.L. Mann HS next season. Butler runs the floor like a deer and altered several shots today. Prep Hoops had Butler for 9 blocks in the game we took in from Rock Hill. Butler has a 7’2 wingspan is a really good passer from the high post. Butler will be ranked #1 player in the Palmetto State 2021 class when the rankings come out later this month.
Rahmel Bell (2021) – Charleston Math & Science – Charleston Strong
Bell is the oldest kid on this very young team playing up in age group. Bell 6’2 likes to play face-up on the floor. Bell has good length and has the ability to bring the ball up the floor. Bell likes to pop off screens for open looks.
Brady Dingess (2022) – Martin County M.S. (Warfield, KY) – Big Shots West Virginia 14U
Dingess played varsity minutes this past year at Sheldon Clark HS in Inez, KY. Dingess 5’10 point guard has unreal court vision and savvy on the floor. Dingess knocked down the open shot and hit several floaters in the lane today. Dingess could be one of the top players in the 2022 class in the Blue Grass State. Inez, KY is located in the coal fields of Eastern Kentucky.
