Grassroots : Big Shots Carolina Live Raleigh
Prep Hoops SC went down the road to Raleigh, NC on Sunday for Big Shots Carolina.
Big Shots Carolina Live was hosted at Garner Road Recreation Center. Prep Hoops
took in a handful of games with players from the Palmetto State.
Starke Salmons
Starke Salmons (2018) James Island HS – Big Shots 17U Orange
Salmons 6’3 point guard was able to knock down some shots today. Salmons brings great effort and
attitude every time he’s on the floor.
Carlos Nuttry (2018) Forest Trail Academy (NC) – Big Shots 17U Orange (pictured on front)
Nuttry will return for another season to Kernersville, NC to play for the Golden Knights according to
Head Coach Antonio Lowe. Nuttry originally Columbia, SC transferred into Forest Trail Academy
from Lower Richland HS. Nuttry played AAU in the past with the South Carolina Kings. Nuttry a guard carries
a 3.8 GPA in the classroom according to Lowe. Nuttry reclassified when he came to Forest Trail Academy back
in August 2016.
Samuel Woods
Samuel Woods (2018) Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach – Manzer Black 17U
Woods looked to jump ship from Big Shots 17U Orange to Manzer Black 17U this past weekend. Woods
6’7 left-handed combo forward has improved over the past year since transferring over from Waccamaw HS.
Woods runs the floor very well and has the ability to step-out to 10-12 feet for a jump shot.

Keenan Norman (2017) – Big Shots Elite South Carolina – 19 ppg – UNSIGNED
Jalen Cameron
Jalen Cameron (2017) – Big Shots 17U Orange – 18.7 ppg – UNSIGNED
Cameron is ranked #16 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season and remains unsigned for next year.
Cameron has been a 4 year varsity letter winner at West Florence HS. Cameron averaged 17.5 ppg and 9.8
rebounds this past season. Radford, Campbell and Murray State have contacted Cameron this spring.
Cameron finished his career with 1,530 points.
